At “Dining With the Star” Australian Beef & Lamb are in the SpotlightDining Promotions
Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA), an industry marketing body, hosts a series of special meals highlighting Australian beef and lamb. The meals, in partnership with PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, provide an exquisite fine-dining experience called “Dining with the Star”.
Guests can enjoy a range of different dishes created by a collaboration of five chefs from The Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place, Ayana MidPlaza, Keraton at The Plaza, and Grand Hyatt.
Diners can look forward to artisanal techniques and the exquisite plating and pairing of premium wine until December, at each hotel.
A wide range of seasonal menus are on offer. In addition to Australian Angus Beef Tenderloin, there is Turmeric Caramelised Shallots, Beetroot Puree, Sambal Potatoes and Australian Lamb Rack, Kemiri Parsley Crust, Sambal Kemukus, Charcoal Roasted New Potatoes by Chef Sean Macdougall from the Riz-Carlton Pacific Place.
Grill AUS Tomahawk Mulwarra with asparagus, truss tomato, potato gratin, Red wine sauce, AUS Wagyu shink shank with truffle sauce, Baby lobster and celeriac puree and Lamb burger with mint- feta pesto, rocket and pita bread bring an element of surprise to each dish that guests can taste at Ayana MidPlaza represented by Chef Olivier Piganiol.
Chef Rafa Gil from Keraton at the Plaza aims to create a distinctive Indonesian traditional menu such as Roasted Lamb loin, sambal kecap, lontong and pickles and Beef Iga Bakar with 2 textures of Buntut.
Grand Hyatt, represented by Chef Timothy Budiantoro, showcases his excellent gastronomy skills in Australian Mulwarra Beef tenderloin baked in puff pastry, Truffled sweet potato mash, spring vegetables in red wine reduction, herb crusted Australian Mulwarra lamb rack, crushed white beans and ratatouille.
