Entering the UK market is the result of a strategic partnership between PT Multi Bintang Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Multi Bintang) and Kingfisher Beer Europe Ltd. as authorized distributor of Bintang Beer.

Currently, Bintang beer is regarded to be on par with other world-renowned beer brands and a popular choice of beer lovers abroad. Besides the United Kingdom, Bintang beer is also available in Malaysia, Singapore, Timor Leste, Japan, Australia, and the Netherlands.

In the UK, Bintang beer is categorized as premium beer, which is distributed to supermarket chains as well as Asian restaurants throughout the UK. Bintang beer is also expected to be available at pubs and premium bars in London and Manchester.

In wholesale markets, Bintang is available at the Morrisons supermarket chain as well as several hotels, restaurants and cafes that are licensed to sell beverages in the United Kingdom. At the Morrisons supermarket, Bintang beer is available in 620ml and sold for £2 in 500 outlets throughout the United Kingdom and through online home delivery.

In the UK, Bintang beer is categorized as premium beer, which is distributed to supermarket chains as well as Asian restaurants throughout the UK. Bintang beer is also expected to be available at pubs and premium bars in London and Manchester.

Michael Chin, President Director of PT Multi Bintang Indonesia Tbk said that Bintang beer and Indonesia can’t be separated from one another, and that consumers in the UK can now have a taste of Indonesia through Bintang beer.

“We hope that the experience of enjoying the iconic Indonesian beer helps to support the image building of Indonesia, which is currently a main priority of the government,” Chin said.
