PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk and PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tb are teaming up to improve the BNI Garuda Priority Service. BNI becomes the first bank to enjoy Garuda Priority Service, in order to make traveling with the airline more effortless. With this new cooperation, BNI Emerald members who have booked economy class flights have access to Garuda Indonesia’s business class benefits.
Through BNI Emerald Privilege Service with Garuda Priority Service, BNI Emerald Segments Priority and Private Banking customers who take economy class flights can enjoy benefits usually reserved for Business Class passengers (GarudaMiles Platinum member) and GarudaMiles Gold. These services include Premium Check-in, Priority Baggage, Priority Security Point, Immigration Clearance, Priority Boarding and access to the Garuda Executive Lounge.
This latest cooperation between BNI and Garuda Indonesia was signed in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which was witnessed by the Director of Institutional Relations & Transactional Banking of BNI, Adi Sulistyowati, and the Director of Marketing & IT of Garuda Indonesia, Nina Sulistyowati.
According to Adi Sulistyowati, Garuda Indonesia Premium Service Facilities are provided for passengers who depart from Terminal 3 - either international or domestic - at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. As next step, BNI is planning to include Juanda Airport in Surabaya, Sepinggan Airport in Balikpapan, Kualanamu Airport in Medan and Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali into the agreement as well.
BNI and Garuda Indonesia provide various services for emerald customers, including double mileage, Garuda Miles bonus, and a Pre-Sale Travel Experience.
“The cooperation between BNI and Garuda Indonesia is one of the various efforts that we have made to give added value to the loyal BNI Emerald Customers,” Sulistyowati said.
Nina Sulistyowati added that the cooperation is part of Garuda’s efforts to increase the commitment and spirit of state-owned enterprises (SEO) synergy that has been well established for many years.
“In addition, this cooperation is also an effort for Garuda Indonesia to maximize the potential of the company's ancillary revenue through cooperation with various stakeholders,” she said.
