To celebrate Indonesia’s 72 years of independence, the historical heritage Hotel Indonesia Kempinski will hold a street food festival from 11 to 31 August at its Signatures restaurant. The festival intends to treat both local and overseas guests to an authentic culinary experience.

To present Indonesia’s vibrant street food scene, the hotel invites Jakarta’s most popular vendors to serve authentic cuisine that is familiar to Indonesian’s taste buds as well as overseas guests to enjoy a truly Indonesian experience. They will work together with the hotel’s culinary team in producing traditional fare for the guests.

To ensure and maintain the standard of procedures in serving healthy and safe food, the hotel requires the vendors to undergo a medical check-up and train them in food preparation hygiene standards.

The street food festival will serve more than 30 dishes such as meatballs, satay and rujak, all of which are commonly found on the streets of Jakarta. All the dishes will be curated and presented at a buffet and food stalls at the restaurant and its al fresco terrace.

This special food festival costs IDR 338,000++ per person during lunchtime on weekdays, and IDR 488,000++ per person during lunchtime on weekends. During dinner time, it costs IDR 388,000++ per person from Monday to Thursday.
