When in Bali, tourists often look to explore culinary spots—and Doncaster Eatery is certainly well worth a visit. Since its opening last year, the restaurant has become a destination of sorts for breakfast, brunch and dinner.

On entering the restaurant, one is immediately struck by the elegant ambiance. Jazz music plays softly as baristas prepare to serve diners coffee from Ubud’s Seniman Coffee.

Later in the day, guests can order specialty cocktails from an extensive menu including  Doncaster’s Signature, a cocktail mixed with Kecombrang flowers, which add a blissful fragrance to the drink.

The restaurant’s contemporary brunch and dinner menu features Indonesian specialties.Located at the heart of the island’s busiest district, Seminyak, Doncaster Eatery offers a variety of energising breakfast options paired with exotic local coffee. Doncaster’s contemporary dishes, made with the best of local harvests, is sure to delight foodies.

Among the signature dishes are Grilled Octopus and Doncaster’s Benedict. Charcoal grilled octopus is served with chives, mashed potato and topped with pesto that teases the palate. The classic Benedict, a poached egg served on cashew-glazed doughnut with sautéed spinach, roast tomatoes, forest mushrooms and a selection of ham.

Other signature home style dishes include Peanut Crusted Grilled Fish, Beef Rendang, and Indonesian Pancake ‘Surabi’ which are perfect for brunch. The restaurant welcomes everyone who seeks fresh, uncomplicated and delicious home cooked meals. It is open everyday from 8am to 10pm. The bar is open for late night drinks all week long until 11pm.
