On Saturday 10 February ACG School Jakarta hosted its first Family Fun Day. There were games, entertainment from students, pony rides, bouncy castles, presentationsfrom senior staff, a bazaar and also mystery prizes. It was a wonderful community event, which we look forward to hosting again in the future.
A day such as this is a wonderful way to increase school-based parent involvement and for the family to enjoy time together.Parents are often curious about what goes on at school and how their children are doing, hosting a Family Fun Day gives parents a chance to meet in a casual setting with the staff and with other parents. It also provides an opportunity to welcome new families to the school, there were tours of the school from senior students and the Principal and other staff gave presentations about the curriculum.
ACG School Jakarta is an international school based in South Jakarta offering World-class education from Kindergarten (3 year-olds) to Year 13 (18 year-olds). Our Primary curriculum (Kindergarten to Year 6) is developed through the framework of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP). The Cambridge Assessment International Education curricula are followed in Secondary for students in Year 7 to 11, with the Lower Secondary curriculum leading to Checkpoint examinations at the end of Year 9 and the International General Certificates in Educations (IGCSEs) examinations at the end of Year 11. Our graduation qualification is the highly-respected international Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
