Coming straight from the heart of London, Chef Paul Walsh will present his unrivaled Michelin Star cuisine at Raffles Jakarta’s Arts Café in celebrating Valentine’s week next month and add a little romance and culinary flavour to your life.

Chef Paul is Head Chef of City Social restaurant in London, which won Best New Restaurant in BMW Square Meal Award 2014 and 3 AA Rosettes Awards in 2016/2017. City Social was one of the youngest ever restaurants to receive a Michelin Star in 2014 and has retained it four consecutive times. At the time, Chef Paul, drawing from his love and passion for all things culinary, was recognized as one of London’s finest up and coming chefs.

Taking over the kitchen at Arts Cafe from 12 to 14 February, Chef Paul will serve his guests both dinner and lunch, as well as an exclusive five-course dinner set menu at Arts Café.

The culinary journey begins with selected City Social classic starters. Moving on to the main course, guests can choose between Cornish sea bass, deep-fried oyster, cucumber, cauliflower, with oyster velouté or Herdwick lamb loin and ragú, violet artichoke, courgette, with pommes soufflées. To finish the meal, Chef Paul presents Hazelnut plaisir sucré with chocolate syrup, biscuit and milk ice cream to complement the romantic moment.

For the exclusive dining experience, the dishes served include Dungarvan oysters, Yellowfin tuna tataki, Squid ink risotto, Herdwick lamb loin and ragú, and Cornish sea bass.

The romantic dinner costs IDR 1.395.000 per person (5-course dinner set menu) including wine pairing. To avoid the notorious Jakarta traffic on their way home, couples are invited to indulge in the Ultimate Valentine experience by booking for the Artist Suite for only IDR 7.500.000 – this price already includes the 5-course dinner set menu by Chef Paul Walsh, breakfast for two person at Arts Café as well as anAromatic Couples Romance Massage for 90 minutes for two persons.
