Most Valued Business (MVB) Indonesia launched its 2016 programme with two exciting and informative events: a two-day International Seminar and an Appreciation Ceremony and Gala Dinner at the end of the second day (21 and 22 April 2016) at Le Meridien Hotel Jakarta.

The two-day International Seminar successfully captured the imagination of its participants through the presentations of  expert speakers in sustainability, environmental friendliness and CSR. The speakers were James Hammond, Maria Nindita Radyati, Andy Zain, Djohan Pinnarwan, Gert Borrits, Rika Anggraini and Wendy Kusumowidagdo. The seminar was opened with an insightful presentation by the Swedish Ambassador, Mrs. Johanna Brismar Skoog, who linked MVB’s programme to the established principles on sustainability adopted by the Swedish government and industries.

The speakers:

James Hammond 

James Hammond has spent the last 30 years in brand development, management and strategy, as well as corporate identity, sales and marketing and customer care. Today, James conducts workshops and seminars on branding, and consults on brand projects ranging from full brand creation to corporate identity design and production.  James also has helped build brands for non-profit organisations involved in homelessness, overseas aid, human rights, animal welfare and mental health.

Andy Zain

Andy Zain is the Managing Director at Mountain Kejora Ventures a startup accelerator & tech company builder in Southeast Asia. For almost 20 years, Andy has been a serial entrepreneur launching multiple technology based startups & assisting global Internet brand such as Disney Mobile, Yahoo! Mobile, Cartoon Network, EA Games, and Gameloft on their entry strategy to the emerging market.

Maria R. Nindita Radyati

Maria R. Nindita Radyati is a PhD from University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. She is an Edupreneur (Educator and Entrepreneur). She is the Executive Director at CECT (Center for Entrepreneurship, Change and Third Sector) at Trisakti University. CECT is a research center that operates as think-thank and Consultant for private sector in the area of CSR and Social Enterprise.

Djohan Pinnarwan, S.E., Ak., CPA

Djohan is Chairman of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standard Board(DSAK) of the Indonesian Institute of Accountants. As PwC partner, Djohan is serving as the Global Accounting Consulting Services partner in PwC Indonesia and also leader of PwC Indonesia Accounting Consulting Services. In addition to the technical role, Djohan is also Corporate Responsibility Leader for PwC Indonesia as he is passionate in social activities and community works.

Rika Anggraini

Rika started her career in The Body Shop Indonesia as Head of Social & Environmental Values in 2008, as Head Corporate Communications in 2012, and now She is currently the General Manager of Corporate Communications in Cosmetics & Toiletries Brand. Rika also have experiences as a Trainer for Corporate Social Responsibility, Presenter of The Climate Reality Project, Project Coordinator for Strengthening Philanthropy and Trainer for NGO’s fundraising skills.

Gert Borrits

Wendy Kusumowidagdo

Wendy is the Senior Consultant and Coach at Outward Bound Indonesia. A leading worldwide organization for 75 years that specializes in building character, leadership and team synergy through outdoor learning. She sits in the Committee of BritCham’s Professional Women to empower and connect women in business in Indonesia.
