Oppo is increasingly strengthening its position as a selfie smartphone producer, catering to the trend among the younger (and, in some cases, older) generation that mainly take to social media to share their thoughts, happiness and lots of photos. Oppo has introduced selfie and group selfie features through Oppo F3 Plus, making it a popular device among South East Asian and South Asian consumers.
Oppo recently launched the next generation of the Selfie Expert series, Oppo F3, which still maintains the main features of the series: Oppo F3, like its predecessor F3 Plus, features the dual-front selfie camera technology. With a viewing angle twice as wide (a 12-degree wide angle), users don’t need a selfie stick anymore to capture more people in a single frame. The back camera offers high quality photography with fast auto-focus (PDAF) speed, which is able to capture clear images from unimpeded moving subjects.
The novelty of this series lies in the size of the device, which is thinner and slimmer, making it more handy and comfortable to put into one’s pocket. Thanks to the exclusive U-rail Spray technology, the device has a body frame width of 2.0 mm, which makes it 27% thinner than Oppo F1s. The aluminum material has been processed by 220 fine zirconium sandblasting to achieve a smoother, simpler and more natural-looking texture.
Oppo F3 is also equipped with a 5.5 inch In-Cell screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, covered with a special protective coating, to ensure better screen visibility so the users’ eyes remain comfortable when they look at the screen under the sunlight. The FHD In-Cell offers sharp and contrast images as well as livelier colours, so the details of theselfie results can be clearly visible on the screen even in blazing daylight.
Oppo F3 uses an eight-core processor supported by 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM and offers a triple-slot tray that can accommodate two 4G Nano SIM cards. The presence of a microSD tray allows internal storage expanded up to 128 GB.
Available in gold and rose gold colours, this smartphone will go on sale on 13 May and is priced at IDR 4,399,000. Oppo will open pre-order until 12 May through its store networks, modern retail and selected e-commerce. Oppo also provides exclusive FC Barcelona handbags for the first customers who order Oppo F3 in the pre-order period.
