The Quest San Hotel Denpasar will host the Fifth Archipelago Culinary Festive on November 4. One of the seven core brands of Archipelago International, Indonesia’s largest operator of hotels, condotels, resorts, serviced suites and branded residences, the Quest San Hotel Denpasar welcomes all participants – consisting of chefs, bartenders and servers from 18 different hotels of Archipelago Indonesia – on its premises.
The participants will put their skills and talents to the test as they face different challenges including the Black Box cooking competition. Here, participants will be handed a box of random ingredients, and within a certain time frame, the chefs have to prove their creativity by using these ingredients to whip up a unique dish. Other challenges include the mocktail creation and innovative table setup competitions. Winston Hanes, Director of Operations and Creator of the esteemed event and Chef Mandif Warokka serve as judges.
Winston Hanes said that this event is an exciting opportunity for the F&B staff of the hotels to highlight their skills and to be inspired by the creativity of their sister properties. The bartending and cooking competitions fosters both networking and healthy competition among the hotels to be the best of the best.
