Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers Appoints New General ManagerHospitality Updates
Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers has appointed Mr. Muhamad Munir as new General Manager.
With a career in the hospitality industry that spans over two decades, Mr. Munir brings a lot of knowledge and experience to his new position.
Originally from Palembang, Mr. Munir received his Master of Social Sciences in Economics in 1994 and quickly began to work his way up in the hospitality industry. He studied and worked abroad for 23 years, including in Singapore and Malaysia.
In 2000, Mr. Munir returned to Indonesia and worked in Batam as the youngest General Manager ever at the time. Before his appointment in Bandung, he managed the Sheraton Mustika Yogjakarta Resort & Spa for eight years.
At Sheraton Bandung, Mr. Munir, who likes to travel and play golf in his free time, will oversee the hotel’s operations, including its 156 guest rooms, eleven meeting rooms and two hectares of lush, tropical gardens.
