Le Meridien Jakarta is currently hosting a Thai Food Festival. This month, enjoy a  wide range of moreish Thai delicacies and take in a cultural performance organised by Tourism Authority of Thailand.

General Manager of Le Meridien Jakarta Kanit Sangmookda along with Deputy Chief of Mission from Royal Thai Embassy Jiraporn Sudanich marked the gala launching at La Brasserie Restaurant on 1 October. Among the prominent guests was Chef Mama Duu from JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa, Thailand. With over 30 years experience, Chef Mama Duu shared her passion for food. Prepared authentically, the food is preservative free – and delicious.

Dishes included Gaeng Kiew Wan Nua, Green Curry with Beef, Eggplant and Basil, Gaeng Karee Moo, Yellow Curry with Potatoes and Sauteed Mixed Vegetables, as well as sumptuous desserts such as the luscious Mango and Sticky Rice.

Immerse yourself in the enticing Thai treats and experience the fresh variety of iconic Thai dishes produced by innovative cooking methods and using ingenious recipes. Thai Food Festival is featured every day at lunch and dinner at the buffet from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.  

In addition to showcasing various delicious Thai dishes, the festival also offers distinctive well-loved Bangkok’s street foods at the poolside area of Le Meridien Jakarta where guests can enjoy the package One Night in BKK wrapped up in Chef Mama Duu’s special recipes. The show will take place on 5 October at 7-10 PM with a selection of rates from IDR 275,000 ++ per person to IDR 395,000 ++ per person including free flow beer.

Do not miss the live-cooking demonstration of Thai Cuisine Discovery presented by the master Chef Mama Duu at La Brasserie Restaurant on 11 October priced around IDR 375,000 ++ per person including lunch buffet and 14 October with IDR 415,000 ++ per person including lunch buffet with non-alcoholic beverages. Reservations are available between 12 PM to 3 PM.
