Having established their independent business in Bali back in 2009, Maria Indah and Gregory Carlo is finally bringing their premium gelato brand to Jakarta with the opening of Gelato Secrets in Shophaus, Menteng, Central Jakarta. Gelato fans are invited to savour the best gelato, sorbetto and a wide array of waffles in a cosy hangout spot.
Gelato Secrets has become a favourite destination to taste premium selections of gelato. Indah and Carlo now own five shops in Bali, including the first Gelato Secrets in Gianyar as well as in Sanur, Seminyak, Canggu and Tanah Lot.
Indah and Carlo’s gelato marries authentic flavours from Italy with local Balinese ingredients. Gelato Secrets serves top quality Italian ice cream produced by using only natural and premium ingredients. Through careful selection process, no Gelato Secrets products contain any artificial flavours and preservatives.
At its new establishment in Mentang, Gelato Secrets provides extensive choice of menu from the classic Italian flavour such as Bacio, Stracciatella and Pistachio, to the tropical taste of Indonesia with its most exotic fruits and ingredients like Mango, Coconut, Passion Fruit and many more. Those looking for experimental flavour may try a mixture of Chocolate Chilli, Blueberry Lavender, Coconut Pandan and other fusion gelato to tease the tastebuds.
The crunch from its homemade cone is the best part of enjoying Gelato Secrets. Gelato Secrets create their own milkshakes and fruitshakes by selecting two flavours of gelato or sorbetto of choice. At certain times, Gelato Secrets also offer special flavours based on the country’s seasonal fruits.
Prices starts from IDR 45,000 to IDR 60,000, Gelato Secrets opens from 10am to 10pm from Sunday to Thursday. Special on Friday and Saturday, the gelato shop is available from 10am to 11pm. One also can find Gelato Secrets in Setiabudi One — Rasuna Said and City Walk — Tanah Abang.
