Visit Arts Café at Raffles Jakarta on Saturdays and you can enjoy the new Saturday Chinese Brunch, a new programme started since 31 August, presenting a dining experience that is quintessentially Chinese under the curation of Arts Café’s Chef de Cuisine, Chef Maria Wang.
The talented chef originally hails from Huangzhou, and she carries with her a wealth of culinary knowledge and creativity when she moved to Raffles Jakarta. Chef Maria’s portfolio include experiences in world-class kitchens, such as at the Burj Al-Arab and Madinah Jumeirah Resort. Chef Maria was also the right hand of 3 Michelin Star Chef, Bruno Menard during the iconic MasterChef TV show and won second place. During her tenure at Raffles Jakarta, Chef Maria received the Accor Asia Pacific Rising Star Award. Chef Maria personally prepares the Saturday Chinese Brunch at Arts Café by Raffles. '
Drawing on her intimate knowledge of Chinese cooking, Chef Maria commands Raffles Jakarta’s experienced culinary team to create the best Cantonese-inspired and Chinese seasonal favourites. You can expect to see elevated forms of signature Chinese favourites, such as a finely curated dim sum selection on trolleys, Chinese hot pot, double-boiled ginseng soup and an extensive Chinese stir-fry station.
For an extra special treat, some of Chef Maria’s new line-up of culinary delights will be especially prepared at the interactive show kitchen.
