Chavaty, known for its signature tea latte and pastries in Omotesando, Shibuya, Japan, has opened its first international outlet—in Jakarta.
In Japan, Chavaty is especially popular with long lines seen outside its doors. The cafe’s tea lattes and grilled scones are among their most popular. Diners in Indonesia will enjoy its signature roasted green tea, houjicha.
In Jakarta Chavaty is located on the 5th floor at Plaza Indonesia Shopping Mall, located right next to the LUMINE Department Store. The cafe seats 12, for those looking to dine in.
The signature dishes in its Jakarta location include Tiramisu with Ceylon Tea, Snow Shake, and Tea Jelly Latte.
As part of its commitment to offering healthy options, Chavaty does not use artificial flavours, enhancers or preservatives. All products are made with fresh ingredients and natural flavours. The Jakarta edition of roasted green tea ‘houjicha’ is different from roasted green tea preferred in Japan, and is created for Indonesian palate.
