Avenzel Hotel & Convention, in collaboration with Playdoo Cibubur, recently organised a captivating and educational program titled “Little Hotelier.” Aimed at children aged 4 to 9 years, this exciting event provided an opportunity for young participants to engage in a range of fun-filled activities while learning about the hospitality industry.
With an array of interactive experiences awaiting them, the children had the chance to explore the inner workings of Avenzel Hotel, immerse themselves in role-playing scenarios, discover various professions within the hotel, participate in entertaining games, indulge in arts and crafts, and culminate their adventure with an engaging cooking class.
Sonia Persia, Marketing Communication representative from Avenzel Hotel, expressed the significance of the collaboration, stating, “We, Avenzel Hotel and Playdoo Cibubur, have joined forces to acquaint children with the world of hospitality. Throughout the event, the children had the opportunity to tour different areas of the hotel, including the rooms and restaurants. Additionally, we took this opportunity to introduce Avenzel Hotel to the parents accompanying their children.”
The educational program attracted 27 enthusiastic participants who assembled at Crema Coffee & Patisserie, located on the lobby floor of Avenzel Hotel & Convention. Divided into two groups, the children embarked on a captivating journey. Beginning in the lobby, they learned about the check-in process and then rode the elevator to explore the hotel’s facilities, such as the swimming pool and gym. The adventure continued as they visited a deluxe room, where the children were taught how to create adorable animal shapes using towels.
Moreover, the young participants had the chance to tour the hotel’s restaurant and meet the talented chefs of Avenzel Hotel. Under the guidance of the hotel’s esteemed Chef, the children enthusiastically learned the art of sushi-making and preparing delightful beverages. Following their culinary endeavors, they were thrilled to taste their own creations.
Cynthia Paramita, the Founder of Playdoo Cibubur, explained the objective behind this exhilarating initiative, stating, “This exciting activity has been specially designed to enrich children’s vacation time on weekends, offering them unique experiences. We aim to foster independence, enhance self-confidence, and nurture problem-solving skills among the children.”
