Runners and sports enthusiasts, grab your friends and mark your calendars for 6 August 2023, as Under Armour Indonesia’s first-ever team relay race competition will take place. ‘The Under Armour Relay’ at Stadion Madya, Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, will be a battle of stamina, speed, strength and teamwork.
Organised by globally renowned sports apparel brand, Under Armour Indonesia, in collaboration with their distributor Masari Group and race management organiser, Athletica, ‘The Under Armour Relay’ is set to attract the city’s most competitive sportsmen and women.
The concept of the competition is a team relay race: each team consists of 5 (five) people, and the total running distance is 5KM, with each team member running 1KM — the winning team will be determined by the fastest cumulative record time.
Each team is required to have members consisting of female and male runners. The number of participants will be limited to 250 participants or 50 teams and is open to participants from Jabodetabek and other areas in Indonesia.
The competition will be divided into three Heats: first, second, and third, with each Heat consisting of up to 16 or 17 groups. And for the assessment of the winner, a timing system will be carried out where the three heats will be provided for each different team to record their best time and the fastest running time will be chosen cumulatively for the group from the three heats. Then five winning teams will be selected with the best time record. All judgments will be made by a team of professional judges and times will be recorded by a timekeeping system.
Prizes include: Shopping Voucher IDR 10.000.000,- plus five Under Armour pairs of shoes for first-place winners; Shopping Voucher IDR 7.500.000,- for second-place winners; and Shopping Voucher IDR 5.000.000,- for third-place winners.

The competition starts at 7am and will end at 11.30am, on Sunday, 6 August 2023, Stadion Madya, Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta.
Participants can register through www.event-underarmour.id with a registration fee of IDR 1,250,000,- per team or IDR 250,000,- per person. Participants will receive an Under Armour racepack containing a hat and running jersey (worth IDR 850,000,-) as part of their registration.
