Taking over what was previously the Century Park Athlete Hotel, Indonesia’s own ARTOTEL Group has officially opened ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan in partnership with the GBK Complex Management Centre. As part of Jakarta’s centre for sports and recreation, the new hotel will continue to cater to the needs of the complex and its associated events.
The hotel has on-going renovation plans but will remain operational throughout this process of improvement and renewal. These efforts are aimed to be completed by early next year. ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan features 594 guest rooms, of which 120 rooms are dedicated exclusively to athletes and national training programmes. The remaining 474 rooms are available for the public, featuring nine room categories, including Superior, Deluxe, Family, Executive Club, Premium, Junior Suite, Executive Suite, Artsy Suite and the Presidential Suite. Lidah Lokal All Day Dining is the hotel’s main dining venue, featuring Indonesian and international bites. The hotel will also feature numerous other venues including Buka Mata Coffee Shop, a ballroom, nine meeting rooms, swimming pool, tennis court, and Artspace – all of which are ARTOTEL’s signature facilities. In theme with the hotel’s history, ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan boasts a variety of Sports Recovery facilities and wellness programmes, aiming to collaborate with big sports events, like Jakarta Running Festival, by providing accommodation and relevant amenities.
