A Night of Nostalgia with Jakarta Concert Orchestra’s “Melodi Milenium” Concert

The Jakarta Concert Orchestra under the baton of Avip Priatna will take you on a melodious journey through time with “Melodi Milenium”. This 15th instalment of the beloved “Simfoni untuk Bangsa” will roll out on Saturday, 31 August 2024, starting from 07:30 pm at the Jakarta Concert Hall in iNews Tower Lt.14-15. 

Joining the orchestra are the renowned Batavia Madrigal Singers and the Resonanz Children’s Choir, adding layers of vocal colours to the concerts. There will be a lineup of stellar soloists including tenor Farman Purnama, tenor Alexandra Januarvian, soprano Dorothy Averina, and alto Quinsha Hutasoit. Performance of these voices, paired with the orchestra’s lush arrangement are set to bring these millennial melodies to life. Here the die-hard classical music fans to those simply yearning for a musical nostalgia will be able to enjoy and immerse themselves in the rendition of beloved songs from the 2000s era.
