Held on 27 October 2024, tenants and visitants took in the ambience of personal hospitality, then left with flavorful impressions on their palates and hearts.

Proceedings kicked off at the 1st floor’s American Bistro Populico with a Barista TakeOver spearheaded by Ega Riandi, winner of the 2024 Indonesia Coffee Art Battle. Three drink creations were on offer and complimented by local-meets-modern desserts by Executive Pastry Chef Aditya Nugroho: Onde-Onde Pandan Gelato, Truffle Choux, and Hazelnut Cigar – honoring Indonesia’s sweet cultural legacy.

The next stop was the 2nd floor’s LIN 林 Chinese Restaurant, wherein succulent Chinese meals were presented by Chinese Head Chef Albert “Liew Ban Foh”. To increase the fun factor and memorability by mixing culture with cuisine, participants also tried their hands at Chinese calligraphy and took part in a Tema Tea tasting session: supported by savory bites like Peking Duck and Salted Egg Crispy Fish Skin.

For the finale at Restaurant Kayu Manis and the officially launched Canella’s sixth floor, the highlight of the night was the Italian-inspired live cooking show hosted by Sous Chef Ruly Mandala and Executive Chef Ivan Leonard. Open from 6-10PM, guests enjoyed an engaging deep dive into Italian classics like Caesar Wedges, Salmon Crudo, Pasta Cartoccio, Secondi Branzino, Lamb A’la Romana, Pizza Bresaola, Smoked Salmon, and decadent desserts such as Tableside Tiramisu and Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake.
