Fairmont Jakarta introduces the latest series of its thematic afternoon tea that involves the collaboration with New York-based global fashion line Tory Burch, available exclusively at the hotel’s Peacock Lounge. Inspired by the brand’s Spring/Summer collection, Tory Burch Afternoon Tea set is specially curated for guests who want to experience the finesse of culinary elegant that coalesce with fashion DNA.
Available until 10 April, Tory Burch Afternoon Tea menu pays homage to the style icon with selections of sweets and savories, designed by Fairmont Jakarta’s Executive Pastry Chef, Sapto Wibowo and his team. The new limited-time afternoon tea offers traditional English favourites, including home-made scones served with clotted cream, jam and lemon curd, fruit tarts, as well as a selection of open sandwiches.
During this special occasion, Peacock Lounge offers a range of delicate and imaginative pastries that combines Tory Burch Spring/Summer colour palette of delicate pastels with a burst of red, bright yellow and electric blue, with a mix of English garden-inspired floral patterns. These include Green Tea Chocolate Delight and Baked Blueberry Cheesecake which is inspired by the handbag collection.
There is also light and refreshing Yuzu Chocolate Milk Crémeux, richly textured Raspberry Cream Cake, Orange Almond Macaron, Lemon Zeppole, Chocolate Coffee Luwak, Mandarin Opera, and chocolate praline – all served in an elegant leather-clad white jewelry drawer-chest. Peacock Lounge also offers another 30 variety of teas from green, herbal to fruit teas that can accompany the delicious delights.
In addition to these gastronomic gems, Peacock Lounge will also showcase Tory Burch handbags, accessories, and apparel from the Spring/Summer collection that will enhance
every aspect of the experience. The collaboration promises to be a delight that combines Afternoon Tea and a comfortable shopping experience where the guest will be eligible for vouchers up to IDR 2,000,000 to be redeemed at Tory Burch Plaza Senayan.
