In support of preventing the spread of Covid-19 outbreak, the Kuwait government in Indonesia through its Chargé d'affaires Abdulwahab Alsenan is restricting travel from and to the State of Kuwait. All commercial flights have been suspended starting from 14 March until further notice. As of today, there are 255 tested positive for the virus in Kuwait, and the cases in Indonesia are growing as the government reports.

If you are Kuwait Citizen or permanent resident, you and your immediate family members are advised to stay in the country for the quarantine. The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Jakarta offers services and protections for Kuwait citizens who are unable to return to Kuwait.
There is no higher priority than the safety and security of the Kuwait citizens in Indonesia at this critical moment. During the quarantine period, the Kuwait government in Indonesia will provide:
- Accommodations in five stars hotels in Jakarta (including breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Medical specialists who will periodically do medical examination and health conditions of Kuwait citizens at the hotels that have been designated by the embassy.
- Transportation for those who are residing in the city.
As for Kuwait citizens residing in other areas outside Jakarta, the embassy has also collaborated with referral hospitals for the case of Covid-19.
The Kuwait government in Indonesia strongly recommend all Kuwait citizens residing in Indonesia to be able to follow this important massage.
