The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan recently launched a new bistro that presents the ‘personalities’ of two characters, translated by the hotel’s culinary team into great comfort food, drinks and experiences that all guests can enjoy.

Two main characters, an unexpected pairing, intertwining the world of cuisine and travel. Lobo is a world traveler, and grew up as a third culture kid. He comes from a fortunate family with parents who were always on the move taking him to explore the most exotic destinations around the globe, from northern Thailand to Tuscany, Delhi, and Paris. Having already gotten a glimpse of the world from a young age, he is excited to embark on future adventures and share his experience. Juno is a city girl, a trendsetter who is passionate about design and music. She loves attending music festivals around the world while exploring local food and learning cultural wisdom. As a style enthusiast, she is fond of furniture and values timeless design with exceptional quality. These exciting adventure stories enrich the culinary artwork that ignite conversation among serious foodies.

Set at the hotel’s lobby level, Lobo & Juno is a place to enjoy a wide array of delightful Eastern and Western dishes in a modern yet humble way. Some of its must-try delicacies are Bang Budi’s Lamb Tongseng: grilled lamb chop cooked in coconut turmeric broth, cabbage, and green tomatoes, Nasi Goreng Pork Belly: a tasteful fried-rice with crispy pork belly as topping and served with Balinese sambal embe, pickled vegetable, and emping crackers, Japanese Garlic Fried Rice: garlicky and buttery fried rice served with chicken katsu, and Pan-Seared Salmon: beautiful-cook salmon with cauliflower puree, roots vegetables, tomato truss, and saffron sauce. While Lobo and Juno Burger and Tomahawk Steak are some big, hearty options for meat lovers.

The delicacies continue into the dessert selections, which include: Banoffee Torte: a banana cake, toffee, fresh banana, and chocolate shavings, Salted Caramel Tiramisu: mascarpone cheese, lady finger, salted caramel, and cocoa powder, Burnt Basque Cheesecake: blueberry compote served with vanilla ice cream, and Molten Brownies made from Javanese chocolate, roasted cashews as toppings and served with vanilla ice cream.

The drinks menu here serves Lobo’s favourite cocktail, the Negroni, made with equal parts Tanqueray No. 10, Campari and Antica Formula vermouth. It also features a stunning walk in wine cellar with over 150 varieties of wines from the new and old word wine, which guests can choose to elevate their dining experience. The wines are available at affordable prices, with an in-house sommelier to help you make your selection.

Lobo & Juno also offers three private dining rooms that are suitable for business meetings and intimate group gatherings with capacity up to 12 seats per room.
