In welcoming this Ramadan month, The Dharmawangsa Jakarta introduces special dining programs to offer, emphasising the tastes of Indonesia with their own signature twist.

Known as a destination that highlights and celebrates Indonesian tradition and heritage, The Dharmawangsa Jakarta presents their ‘iftar’ programs which consist of the Taste of Nusantara Iftar and Iftar Feast during this Ramadan.

Jakarta Restaurant & The Courtyard will be the centre to showcase the extensive array of authentic and popular Indonesian specialties. The iftar menu highlights all-time favourite takjil and manisan (sweetened fruits) and various food stalls from different Indonesian regions, such as Nasi Ulam Jimbaran, Nasi Manado, Soto Kuning Bogor, and Kambing Guling.

The sweet treats, such as Jajanan Pasar (traditional market snacks), Lapis Legit (layered cake), Asinan (sweet and spicy fruit dish), as well as an assortment of Middle Eastern and French pastries, are the hotel’s best recommendation for desserts.

The Taste of Nusantara iftar at Jakarta & The Courtyard is available from 1 to 15 April, from 5 to 9 pm, Priced at IDR 688,000++ per person and IDR 488,000++ per child (4-12 years old).

Bringing a Middle Eastern atmosphere that has become a trademark offering at the hotel, guests can also enjoy an iftar feast at Nusantara Garden. Here, guests can immerse themselves in the sights, smells and sounds of a Middle Eastern market, From 27 March until two days before Eid al-Fitr, from 5 to 9 pm, guests can enjoy the modern function room that transforms into a lavish Arabic Ramadan majlis.

The Nusantara Garden’s iftar buffet will feature an array of Middle Eastern, Indonesian, and international delicacies, such as Mezze, Shawarma live station, Lamb Mandi, Kebuli Rice, Lamb Leg ‘Kambing Guling’, Baked Lobster Rica-Rica, Rendang-Glazed Rib Eye, as well as the signature Nasi Kapau and Nasi Liwet Keprabon. Further to that, the most sought-after menu by guests is Iga Panggang Madu (honey grilled ribs), a must-try. This is priced at IDR 788,000++ per person.

The delights continue even after Ramadhan and into the Eid Al-Fitr celebrations. The Dharmawangsa Jakarta is set to serve a special Eid Brunch, from 11:30 am to 3 pm, with traditional Indonesian lebaran dishes, such as Ketupat, Opor Ayam, and Kambing Guling. In addition to the traditional Indonesian menu, the buffet spread also offers a range of international flavours, including fresh seafood on ice, cheese and charcuterie, caviar, a carving station of Wagyu Beef Bollard MB9 or Beef Tomahawk, as well as Japanese, Chinese, and Italian station. This Eid Bruch is available starting from IDR 895,000++ per person and IDR 595,000++ per child (4 to 12 years old).
