ARTOTEL Group recently held ‘Art Bar Academy’, the hotel’s latest F&B event where liquor fans can learn about the latest innovations and trends in the culinary world from industry experts.
After the success of Bar Take Over and The Jive Society, ARTOTEL Group debut the event with Art Bar Academy, a learning platform for liquor fans to learn with the master. The event —- which was held on 2 May at ARTOTEL Thamrin — will also be held at other properties in Yogyakarta and Bali.
The Academy's events – consisting of workshops, whiskey dinner pairings, and bar take overs – are a collaboration with three major International players in the F&B industry like Laura Marnich, Agosti Vittorio, and Victor Ulrich. The Art Bar Academy uses Art Bar Academy alcohol products from Beam Suntory, such as Makers Mark, Roku Gin, and Auchentoshan.
Flown directly from Dubai, Laura Marnich hosted Bar Take Over at Double Chin Restaurant & Bar to run a special session of “Star-Tending Master Class”. All the way from, Agosti Vittorio conducted a Product Master Class by sharing tips and tricks using Fabri’s special syrup products. The International Glass Wear Ambassador from Riedel, Victor Ulrich shared some of his expertise around glass usage experience throughout the world and also to introduce some of Riedel’s fine glass to the participants.
At Double Chin Restaurant & Bar, The Auchentoshan Whiskey Dinner has served a four- set menu pairing dinner with Whiskey. Andrew Soetino & Christopher Kevin Susindra from Indonesia Whiskey Research Society put ogether the exquisite dinners.
The next Academy series will take place in ARTOTEL Yogyakarta with Art Wine Academy in September. Later in December, Art Culinary Academy in ARTOTEL Beach Club Sanur will close the series.
