Tucked away in the trendy enclave of The Buya, Singapore’s famous dessert café opens in the capital. Sunday Folks presents an array of sophisticated sweets, offering their iconic freshly-churned, handcrafted ice creams, artisanal parfaits, cakes and a tasty all-day brunch menu.
The chic and cosy venue located on Jalan Cipete Raya is set to be a destination for dessert-lovers, where a particular focus on all-things-sweet is presented on the menu. Embracing the same spirit that defines its flagship in Singapore, at its core the café is dedicated to preserving the art of artisanal dessert-making. Their most famous offerings include their small batch ice cream creations, each boasting a unique recipe tailored to its flavour, not using any premixes or artificial flavourings and preservatives. Popular flavours include Earl Grey Butterscotch Parfait and the unique Nasi Lemak Parfait, as well their specially-made ice cream petits gâteaux like the Indonesian-inspired Es Teler and refreshing Yoguberry.
Savoury delights are also on the menu, featuring delectable all-day brunch items and tapas, including Crispy Buttermilk Chicken, Waffle with Maple Glaze, Singapore Chilli Crab Cake and Golden Mantou, and Kueh Pie Tie. Guests can also indulge in its dessert inspired cocktails, such as the Pink Floyd– a refreshing concoction of housemade strawberry sorbet and lavender infused martini, and martabak, which features a Wiesman butter-washed whiskey.
To support and showcase Indonesia’s rich offerings, the cafe features a custom blend of Indonesian coffee beans from Coffeetorium and locally procured ingredients such as cheeses from Mazaraat Artisan Cheese and tea for their signature Earl Grey Lavender ice cream from Havilla Gourmet Tea.
Open daily: 8am – 10pm (Sun-Thurs), 8am -12am (Fri-Sat).
