Oakwood Premier Cozmo Jakarta was filled with scents of fresh herbs and sizzling spices as guests gathered for ‘All You Knead Is Comfort,’ an exclusive live cooking event with MasterChef Australia 2019 finalist, Chef Tati Carlin on 26 February 2025. It was a culinary showcase that delved deep into the soul of comfort food, where tradition met innovation and home-style warmth centre stage.
Held at Oakroom Restaurant & Bar, the event offered guests an intimate look at Chef Tati’s culinary artistry as she prepared Green Curry Laksa with Coriander Noodles and a selection of Frangipani and Lemon Tarts. The live demonstration was followed by a Q&A session, a food tasting, and giveaways, making for an engaging and interactive afternoon.
For Chef Tati, the collaboration was a homecoming. Having previously worked at Oakwood Premier Cozmo, she expressed her appreciation for the brand’s commitment to comfort and hospitality. “Cooking is about creating memories, just like a home. For me and for many others, Oakwood isn’t just a place to stay; it’s a place that nurtures warmth and connection,” she shared.
The event was a joint effort between Oakwood Premier Cozmo Jakarta, Oakwood Apartments PIK Jakarta, and Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Taman Mini Jakarta, reinforcing Oakwood’s vision of offering more than just accommodation. Guests were treated to an immersive experience as Chef Tati guided them through the preparation of her signature dishes. Attendees actively engaged in conversations about her culinary journey, sampled her carefully crafted creations, and took home exclusive goodie bags and prizes, and for some, new tips and tricks about cooking comfort dishes.
