Switzerland is one of a few countries in the world with a long tradition of, and emphasises on, innovation as a source of competitiveness. For this reason, SwissCham Indonesia intends to be the leading platform to leverage innovation and operational excellence of Swiss companies to contribute to the betterment of the Indonesian economy. Our vision is to aim to be the leading service platform to enhance bilateral trade, investment and relations between Switzerland and Indonesia.

We are committed to our mission of focusing on promoting trade, investment, and the development of relations between the Swiss and Indonesian business communities through collaborative dialogues and advocacy, as well as social and business networking events that are geared to sustainably support the needs of our corporate, SME and individual members.

Entering our third year, throughout our presence, we have conducted numerous advocacy activities to voice our members’ inputs to the Indonesian government, with one most recent example is the publication of our Policy Paper titled Advancing Indonesia 4.0 that outlines constructive ideas gathered from the business community for boosting investment, trade and development between the two countries as well as driving Indonesia’s economic growth.

The Covid-19 pandemic has been a challenge for many organisations. However, in line with our commitment to our members, we make every effort to support our members through online activities, such as webinars and virtual meetings with relevant Indonesian government bodies, business practitioners, experts and academicians.

As one of our supports for our members to create opportunities to enhance relationships between the members as well as with non-members, we are organising our 2nd SwissCham Indonesia Golf Tournament at Royale Jakarta Golf Club on 7 August 2020. Due to special circumstances, this year, the event will be a casual gathering over a fun golf day and network with fellow golfers and business people with implementations of health protocols during the tournament as advised by the Indonesian government.
