(Ascott) received top honours of “Leading Serviced Apartment Brand” in Asia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Vietnam at the 2016 World Travel Awards ceremony for Asia and Australasia in mid-October in Danang, Vietnam. The World Travel Awards acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry and are commonly known as the Oscars of the travel industry.
Ascott also clinched “Best Serviced Residence Group” at the Travel Weekly Asia’s 2016 Readers Choice Awards that are presented to outstanding companies for their first-class products, excellent service and their achievements in boosting the travel industry.
Ascott’s Chief Corporate Officer, Tony Soh said that being voted as the number one serviced residence brand in Asia, and recently the leading brand in Europe and the Middle East, only motivates the group to further push the boundaries of excellence. He added that they would continue to stay on top of industry trends, be it by embracing technology, tailoring customer experience or transforming their business model to place Ascott in an even stronger position for the years ahead.
