With more than 28 years of experience in the hospitality and gaming industries, Philip Ommen has an extensive background in sales & marketing and cost management, as well as a track record of exceeding goals, boosting sales and increasing revenue without compromising customer value. He has honed his skills at the industry’s top hotels such as Hyatt, Shangri-La and InterContinental Hotels Group and has a detailed understanding of luxury hotel operations. Previously, he served as the General Manager at Radisson Bali Tanjung Benoa Bali and Vice President of NagaWorld Hotel & Entertainment Complex in Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia.
As initial breakthrough at Ayana MidPlaza Jakarta, Philip Ommen and his team have the task to transform the 366-guestroom hotel into the city’s most sought after destination for luxury getaways, memorable dining experiences, authentic wellness escapes and indelible events.
Philip Ommen’s also oversees the dramatic remodel of the hotel’s main lobby, which is scheduled for completion in May. Representing a new era in Jakarta’s lifestyle hospitality concept, the main lobby will be a creative architectural showpiece that exposes guests to groundbreaking works of art that reflect the city’s vibrant mood.
