A mere 30-minute drive from the city centre of Jakarta lies Alam Sutera, a well-managed and green residential area featuring an abundance of amenities, including shopping malls, international schools and - perhaps most importantly - toll access to Jakarta and Soekarno Hatta International Airport.
Brewin Mesa, a Singapore-based real estate investment and development company, plans to build a prestigious apartment complex called The Lana in Alam Sutera CBD. The company's first project in Indonesia, The Lana will be designed by Andrew Bromberg, an award-winning archtect and Global Board Director of international architecture firm AEDAS.
According to Bill Cheng, President Director of PT Brewin Mesa Sutera, the innovative and high quality apartments will be positioned as a high-end property for living. The Lana will comprise of two 38-storey towers with 496 units on an area covering 85.000 square meters. There are four different types of units: 1 bedroom, 2 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms and 3+1 bedrooms.
Amenities include 3 pools, a large sky deck, multiple resident lounges and meeting facilities, a large gym, gardens and barbeque areas. However, the Lana also boasts a couple of very unique features.
The Thinking Boxes are above ground and nestled within the branches of strong trees. They are quiet and tranquil places to lounge and contemplate.
The Wayang Tower is specifically designed for kids as they can play in the incorporated tree house. In the evenings, The Wayang Tower transforms into a lantern that captures the interaction of the children inside, reflected like wayang kulit.
The Giant Hammock, located on the 18th floor Sky Deck, is an area designed for residents to sit back and relax in a casual environment while enjoying panoramic views of the surroundings from the 18th Floor.
The Solarium, a unique sun-filled lounge and library encased in full height windows, opens out to a tree-lined outdoor seating area.
The design of The Lana centers on a luscious green environment, guaranteeing privacy, tranquility and relaxation to its residents. Inspired by the terrace rice paddies in Bali, the apartment offers multiple levels of resident amenities set amidst greenery and water features. For the architect company, the design focuses on human sustainability to ensure the sustainability of communities around the project. The Lana also offers many amenities supporting a healthy and relaxing lifestyle that cannot be found at other apartments, including a meditation garden, a yoga studio, a fitness room, along with a sauna, a huge swimming pool, jacuzzi and many more.
