Intiwhiz Goes Green

Industries | 25 May 2016

The people behind Intiwhiz Hospitality Management are keeping themselves busy these days with the opening of three upcoming hotels in 2016. Another 20 properties are also in line to complete the 37-hotel target by the end of 2017.

The series of new hotels shows Intiwhiz’s commitment to promoting Indonesian tourism by presenting numerous properties spread all over the country to accommodate travellers’ needs. This goes with the statement of Edi Syumardi, Corporate GM Sales and Marketing of Intiwhiz Hospitality Management, who believes that every hotelier should be an ambassador for Indonesian tourism, “I think every hospitality professional bears the same responsibility to promote Indonesian travel and to convince travellers from around the world to visit our country. We should spread the word that Indonesia, with its endless beauty and attractions, is one of the best holiday destinations in the world,” Edi told NOW! Jakarta.

The Makassar-born man also explained to us several values that Intiwhiz hotels prioritize to support this mission. “At Intiwhiz, we believe that preserving the environment is important to promote Indonesian nature and tourism. Therefore, we try to manifest this ambition by raising awareness and transmitting green habits to our guests. Last month, we launched the Intiwhiz’ global environmental campaign by distributing eco-friendly bags to our guests. This way they don’t need to use plastic bags anymore as we know how bad plastic can damage our earth,” explained Edi. The campaign reflects Intiwhiz’s passion in supporting Indonesia’s growing economy and tourism industry through premium quality services and a range of inspirational activities in each property.
