Saumata Apartment was awarded the gold prize and will be nominated for the FIABCI Prix d’Excellence for international property development. The brand, which operates under PT Sumatra Agung Properti, also won the Kohler Bold Design Awards 2018.
Saumata Apartment received the awards from the event organised by FIABCI (Federation Internationale des Administrateurs de Bien-Conselis Immobiliers) along with REI (Real Estate Indonesia), in Nusa Dua, Bali in February. The FIABCI Indonesia - REI Excellence Awards 2018 is considered the benchmark for developers and owners of Indonesian property and real estate industry.
An independent panel of judges — including practitioners, academics, bureaucrats and experts — judged participants from various aspects such as vision, design, functionality, size, as well as the socio-economic and environmental value of a property. Lana Wanayanti, Naning Adiwoso, Bernadus Djonoputro, Prof. Dr. Ir. Arief Sabaruddin, Pingki Elka Pangestu, and Achmad Noerzaman were on the panel.
In March, Saumata Apartment also received another industry recognition from Kohler Bold Design Awards 2018 for Condo Apartment Architecture for the Hotel Indonesia Kempinski. The selection process was carried out by the best judges of the industry, such as Faried Masdoeki, Andra Matin, Hidajat Endramoekti, Jean-Michel Gathy, Alexandra Champalimaud and Tony Chi.
