From November 20th to December 20th, The Dharmawangsa Jakarta marks its 20th year of exemplary service and renowned reputation. Having been known as a hotel that embodies modern Indonesian design and culture, the hotel creates a series of programs in commemorating momentous occasion.
There are several activities arranged in conjunction with the anniversary such as Pasar Sumba that is a marketplace showcasing rare collection of tenun Sumba from 12 traditional artisan in collaboration with Indonesian fashion designer, Biyan. A cultural talk show with Benny Gatha will discuss about “How to Maintain Various Indonesian Traditional Textiles”.
As the part of culinary experience, workshop with Wida Winarno entitled “Exploring Indonesian Food Heritage – Tempe” will be held on November 16th. An anniversary with unfortunate children will be celebrated with The Longest Nasi Campur Dharmawangsa. The 20th anniversary celebration is going to be closed with “The Colors of Indonesia’s Heritage Journey” by inviting clients and media on December 5th, 2017.
General Manager of The Dharmawangsa Jakarta Novi Samodro said, twenty years of luxurious memories marks a key milestone in the history of the Dharmawangsa. The hotel shares a very special series of programs with guests, clients, community surrounding and employees.

The anniversary celebration is not only enlivened by number of events. Jakarta Restaurant celebrates Indonesia’s vibrant food culture by presenting 20 selections of Indonesian ancient heritage dishes from various regions specially crafted by Executive Chef Felix Budisetiawan and his award-winning culinary team. To add more excitement, guest can enjoy three for two of lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch buffet.
Three for two of James Bond’s Martini collections and any house pouring drink are presented by Majapahit Lounge for this anniversary. The guests will get 20 percent saving for pastry products at the Cake Shop.
The Journey to 20th Anniversary benefit is valid for room booking until 30 December 2017 with 2 percent saving for Food & Beverage as well as Spa treatment at Bimasena Spa. As part of the charity program, The Dharmawangsa is committed to giving donation to Yayasan Wisma Cheshire, a residential, vocational training program for adult men and women with mobility disabilities.
