Being successful in one's job search isn't just about conversations with company personnel. It's also how we present our credentials on the CV and of course our ability to ace the interview with the right pitch.
In collaboration with Lembaga Pengembangan Profesi (Professional Development Institution) or LPPT of Tarumanagara University, English training centre CELS Indonesia organised a workshop on CV writing and job interviews coaching for university students about the enter the workforce.
These days, many local and multinational companies in Indonesia require candidates who speak English. Hence, English training center CELS runs the English skill development programme.
CELS’ academic team members Renae Verboon and Arie Riswandi presented tips on writing an effective CV, and Simon Staniland covered the Job Interview session.
The workshop was held at TKC Seminar Room at the University, and was held for the students of Tarumanagara University to help them take on challenges after college, particularly facing job interviews in English.
Freshmen also participated in the workshop to help learn more about college life and the competitive nature of life for fresh graduates. Stella Bernadette, from LPPT Tarumanagara University, acknowledged the participants.
