The weekend is something that everyone looks forward to every week – a time to unwind, relax and enjoy the company of family or friends after a busy week. For those looking to spend a weekend of indulgence consisting of a sumptuous and delicious meal, look no further as Alto Restaurant & Bar at the prominent Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta returns with its iconic Sunday Brunch. Granting sweeping views of the city skyline as the backdrop, feast like kings and queens with the epicurean spread on this exquisite weekend experience.
Simon Barnett, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta, said “We are excited for guests to return to our iconic Italian rooftop restaurant. While continuing to ensure the highest standards of safety and hygiene through our global Lead With Care programme, we felt it was the right time to bring this beloved Four Seasons experience back to the city.”
The legendary brunch returns with an all-new menu by Executive Chef Marco Violano, who drew inspiration from the home-style family brunches of his childhood in Italy. “I want to bring the warmth, the laughter, the romance of la dolce vita back to Jakarta,” he shared. “Alto’s essence has always been delicious Italian food, made simply but with the highest-quality ingredients, and served in a chic and relaxed atmosphere.”
The revamped Sunday Brunch enthusiastically welcomes this fresh concept, refining authentic recipes with the finest ingredients imported directly from Italy. The extravagant buffet features a gourmet salad station and a seafood bar offering fresh-caught mussels, prawns, shrimp, baby lobster, blue crab and mignonettes.
Diners can relish in the highlight of the brunch, which is the eclectic array of Italian antipasti, cold cuts and excellent European cheeses. Delight in the selection of regional delicacies such as salami from Milan and Rome, as well as specialities such as salmon gravlax, Vitello tonnato (veal with tuna sauce) and Panzanella (Tuscan tomato salad). Don’t miss out on the all-time crowd favourites on the menu including Alto’s authentic pizzas and freshly baked quiches.
Carnivorous diners will absolutely love the live carving stations, which feature Javanese peppercorn-encrusted US prime ribs and a leg of lamb with aromatic herbs. If that’s not exciting enough, each table can also share unlimited pass-around pasta, soup and the Chef’s signature salmon papillote (salmon cooked in parchment with asparagus and lemon butter sauce).
Of course, it wouldn’t be the perfect Sunday Brunch without a wide range of mouth-watering desserts to wrap up your meal. Executive Pastry Chef Lorenzo Sollecito has prepared fabulous new creations to the sumptuous spread, such as Boston bombolone and mango egg-tart Danish, while beloved classics such as Alto tiramisu, vanilla panna cotta and Caprese chocolate cake are also available.
Alto’s Italian Sunday Brunch is available every Sunday, priced at IDR 895,000++ per person.
