Djournal is one of the Ismaya Group’s cafes that exclusively serves coffee drinks and light bites. Their latest lifestyle establishment, Djournal House builds on that concept, bringing coffee, cocktails, and music in one roof where one can work, socialise, or just relax.
Djournal House can be considered an extension of its sister, Djournal Coffee. Located in Gunawarman, Djournal House fuses cafe culture, with an addition of an exposed bar, as well as a music corner where one can buy vinyl records by local and international artists.
The space includes a room where specialty eans are processed for its seasonal beverage. A dedicated Cupping Room is used to conduct classes on testing coffee and creating latte art. The baristas have created a wide selection of the beverage. Hand brewed and Nitro coffee are among new espresso-based drinks
The menu features items such as the Eggslut Burger, Reuben Pastrami, and Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich. There’s pasta, Indonesian food and the ever-popular rice bowl.
The “Coffee by Day, Cocktail by Night” adage rings true here with a range of coffee-infused drinks like Djakarta Roast Martini, Djournal Old Fashioned, Whisk Me Up, and Aeropress Negroni which are sure to satisfy both coffee and cocktail lovers.
Ismaya supports local artists and will feature them at the cafe once a week.
