Frank’s Bar & Smokehouse, tucked away between Kem Chicks and Kemang Village, is the perfect place for quality food and unique cocktails. Serving up big, flavourful Texas BBQ style food such as beautifully smoky brisket, spicy sausage, ribs and pulled pork either in a platter or turned into sandwiches, burgers or some of Indonesia’s most popular dishes, this is one place to visit after work or just about anytime.
All meats are dry-rubbed and smoked to perfection for up to 12 hours using rambutan wood, then anointed with Frank’s excellent house-made sauces. Classic sides include mac ‘n’ cheese, pinto beans, coleslaw and potato salad, but some fans prefer to complement their meal with appetisers like our hot wings or chili fries.
Besides serving great food, Frank’s also has one of the largest selections of American whiskeys, bourbons and tequilas available. Sip on the signature drink, the Lynchburg Lemonade, made with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee and is deliciously refreshing. Also try Frank’s Bloody Mary Vodka Infusion which is made with an assortment of flavourful vegetables and herbs and comes with the restaurant’s Number 1 snack, the buffalo turd. Of course there is also a cold lager to wash down the range of slow and low smoked BBQ-ed meats!
The inviting wood interiors are fitted out with sofa corners where one can relax with friends. There’s also plenty of seating around the long bar and billiard table.
