Starting from Sunday, 24 April 2022, Tom Aikens brings over the European nostalgia to Jakarta’s eclectic dining scene with the launch of a highly-stylised Sunday Roast, cooking up sumptuous selections of dishes. These mouth-watering offerings include starts such as foie gras and chicken liver parfait with grape chutney and French brioche, treacle-cured salmon with homemade dill ricotta and smoke potatoes, and yellowtail ceviche with pickled cucumber and agave. The renowned chef also aims to please meat-loving diners with the Gueridon trolley service, featuring meat carving options such as Prime Rib Roast, Rack of Lamb, Rotisserie Chicken and Chilean Seabass with fresh garnishes and accompaniments. To satisfy diners’ sweet tooth, the dessert available highlights an array of British-style desserts including pistachio frangipane, vanilla cheesecake with raspberry and apple almond tart.
The Sunday Roast is priced at IDR 688,000++ per person for the main dining table hall, and IDR 888,000++ per person for the in-demand table by the window, inclusive of a complimentary welcome drink from the restaurant’s signature cocktail trolley.
New Gourmet Indulgence
The surprise doesn’t stop there! On Sunday, 25 April 2022, Tom Aikens also launched the New Gourmet Indulge, meticulously curated by the man himself. Diners can dive into an epicurean journey with the new menu experience, available from Monday to Saturday for lunch from 12pm – 3pm and dinner from 6pm – 10pm. Diners will be spoiled with a variety of signature dishes such as wagyu truffle slider and oyster citrus & champagne for appetisers, while soup selections offer clam chowder, and lamb mulligatawny and cioppino. Pasta aficionados can delight in the lamb ragu, mushroom and truffle or lobster and uni fettuccine.
Additionally, Tom’s also serves white and red base pizza to diners with the options of burrata, prosciutto, truffle and mortadella for the white base pizza and smoke Hungarian-style pepperoni, fennel sausage, margarita and spice nduja for the red base pizza. The main courses highlight the woodfire grill offerings which include a 45-days Himalayan salt dry-aged USDA prime or black Angus and wagyu beef, served with a selection of sides including lobster mac and cheese, Hasselback baked potatoes, creamed spinach and more.
When it comes to the dessert, diners can cleanse their palate with traditional British homemade desserts such as sticky toffee pudding, whiskey dark chocolate tart and salted caramel popcorn sundae. The menu also offers vegetarian options with an appealing selection of hearty, nourishing and flavourful dishes such as brioche cheese toasties, tomato shorba, Caesar salad, wild mushroom and truffle risotto, mushroom and truffle fettuccine, burrata, truffle or margarita pizza and so much more.
Tom’s also showcases a mezzanine lounge that overlooks the restaurant featuring circular steel stairs that adjoins the comfortable wooden cladded bar, which houses the largest and most varied whiskey collection in Jakarta. The Chef’s Table corner situated in the Marrone open kitchen allows guests to witness the lively process where the Himalayan salt-dry meat lockers will age the high-quality beef, the wood-fired grill that will layer complexity into any simple flavour, and the épicerie-like shelves that provide a wide range of charcuterie and cheeses along with a variety of wine.
