Introducing On Six by GIÔI, a new F&B concept in an open space bearing modern minimalistic atmosphere.
From the brilliant culinary minds that gave you GIÔI comes On Six by GIÔI, a hip new dining venue occupying a modern minimalistic space by Disrupto. The space itself is designed to pioneer innovation and a progressive way of thinking. Streamlined and neat, it consists of a multi-purpose showcase gallery as you enter the front and opens into a generous seating area where On Six by GIÔI is located. Lined with individual wine and spirits shelves on each end, the room’s focal point is a comprehensive open bar that offers everything from original cocktails to fresh juices and everything in between.
On Six by GIÔI offers pan-Asian menus with moderate Indonesian influence. I had the Cireng Keju, which is a cheese-imbued rendition of popular starch-based deep-fried street food. With a somewhat firmer texture than its street snack counterpart, this smaller, bite-sized appetiser is both rich and satisfying. Another light bite I sampled was the Tahu Gejrot, another progressive take on a popular local snack. The tofu are served round and slighltly chewy on the outside, hiding a softer and warmer interior. The shrimp paste flavour within the broth was quite pronounced without overpowering—nicely adding ‘oomph’ to every bite.
The space by Disrupto itself was also recently christened as an educational and business platform optimally designed to accommodate forward-thinking individuals as they combine and develop big ideas. Disrupto is an annual movement aiming to accommodate forums between the government, venture capitals, corporations, global financial institutions and startups in an inclusive culture.
