SKAL Club Jakarta, the travel industry association, decided to go upmarket this year with their annual festive gala dinner and joined forces with Mandarin Oriental Jakarta to create a memorable dinner in their elegant French restaurant Lyon.
SKAL Members and guests were welcomed by SKAL President Alistair Speirs and Mandarin Oriental General Manager, Andrew Abram with an absolutely dazzling selection of festive cocktails, then a five course meal of the highest standards. Here is the menu such as Canapes, Amuse Bouche, Legacy Classic Onion Soup, Aged Comte Cheese Ravioli, Mount Blanc and other exotic cuisine.
There was great music and an astonishing variety of prizes to keep all entertained, plus a touching memorial to one of the Jakarta hotel industry’s most loved personalities, Fransiska Kansil, who sadly passed on this year.
