ARTOTEL Sanur – Bali is currently holding an art exhibition by Ican Harem titled ‘Don’t Believe in the Future’ that runs through 2 February 2017.
Ican Harem is a young, talented, Bali-based artist whom sums up together fashion, music, street art, skateboard and other pop culture. Originally from Sumatra, Harem learnt honed his artistic skills in Yogyakarta, a city that is known for its rich culture and countless creative talents. His artwork has been quite often to take part in group exhibition, commission artwork offers, performing, designing band T-shirt for locals and international brands wear, and other merchandises. 
He also runs his own business called HAREM which exposes more alternative pop culture fashion. Curated by Safrie Effendi – Art Manager of ARTOTEL Indonesia, “DON’T BELIEVE IN THE FUTURE” is a collaboration to the next step to be grown up and independent, picking up the leftover trend, culture and issue which have been disappear to the conventional norms, politics and stiff culture. Through his colorful and reckless strokes, visitors get a glimpse into the inner workings of Harem’s fearless and fascinating mind. Ican Harem’s exhibition once again shows ARTOTEL Sanur – Bali’s commitment to appreciate local communities in the art world as well as its support for emerging artists.
