Opened in mid-December 2019, Thamrin 10 Food and Creative Park is new a lifestyle hub in Central Jakarta built over a former parking space in Thamrin Street No. 10, close to Sari Pacific Hotel and Wisma Mandiri. Today, people could explore an abundant choice of culinary offers, participate in creative acts with a list of urban communities, or just hang out with friends and family while enjoying the city vibe.
Inaugurated by Jakarta Governor Anis Baswedan, the new lifestyle hub is part of the city programme under his administration with the goal of establishing more open spaces in Jakarta. It also cultivates walking culture among urban residents thanks to easy access to public transportation. Thamrin 10 is indeed to be a pedestrian haven, which is also considered disabled-friendly. For those coming here, taking a walk is recommended as there are no parking lot anymore. Bank Indonesia and Sarinah are the closest Tranjakarta bus stop.
Around 54 culinary destinations including food tenant and food truck provide a diverse range of beverage and cuisine to be indulged with family and friends. One must try Indonesian local food brands including Minang Pride that provide Modern West Sumatran cuisine in a rice bowl. Combrang, Pisang Goreng Srikaya Ahou, Burger Bener, Dejamu, Dawet Ireng Wong Ndeso and Comagain are among the recommended list of the culinary spot at Thamrin 10. Stay at the rooftop seat to get the best view of the city overlooking Jakarta skyscrapers.
Thamrin 10 is designed to be a one-stop Nusatara culinary destination in the future. There are more culinary spots to come as the operator, PD Pasar Jaya expects 100 food tenants will be occupying the area in 2020 with the merge to the other culinary sport Sabang 5.
A regular live entertainment such as music geeks, literature discussion and comedy special are scheduled to enliven the creative atmosphere at Thamrin 10 Jakarta.
Don’t forget to top up your e-money and purchase food or goods with the card such as JakCard and JakLingko, or process with the payment on the phone through JakOne Mobile. Convenience is priority as top-up booths are also available within the area. Tenants will also receive payment using other e-wallet services such as GoPay, OVO, LinkAja and DANA.
