Art Exhibition at Beacon Academy is a Treat for the Senses!

Students at this North Jakarta school are showcasing more than 300 art works. The students are part of the various programmes at the school and are from the junior, middle and senior school divisions.

These works were created over the past year and feature various media including pencil drawings, shading, colour pencils, watercolour paintings, acrylic on canvas, crayons, charcoal and dry pastels among others.

There are also three-dimensional works including sculptures, reliefs, masks, vases and recycled art. Students have displayed collaborative mural projects as well. Various craft techniques like mosaics and origami are also on display. There are also works of Photography and Digital media.

This show highlights students knowledge and understanding in the area of visual art while they have explored various concepts and skills to express their ideas and concepts.
