Organised by Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia, the Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy (CIFP) is the country’s biggest festival of diplomacy and also happens to be the world’s largest foreign policy conference. The chosen theme for this year is “Cooling Off The Hot Peace: Strategic Opportunities and Economic Remedies for a Distressful World,” focusing on the re-emergence of geo-strategic rivalries, mistrust, disruption, and brinkmanship in today’s world affairs — hence the “hot peace” — which represents the most serious challenge for world peace.
Through this conference, the organiser aims to push the participants to recognise this serious problem and think hard about the strategic and economic opportunities that could turn this dangerous condition of “hot peace” towards a more stable, durable, and cooperative world order. In order to do that, there will be high-level speakers from various organisations participating in the event, from Dino Patti Djalal and Pevita Pearce to Ridwan Kamil and Prabowo Subianto.
The Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy (CIFP) will be held on Saturday, 30 November 2019 at The Kasablanka Hall, Kota Kasablanka mall. Visit cifp2019.eventbrite.com to register!
