French cultural center IFI celebrates the 40^th anniversary of René Goscinny’s death. Goscinny was the creator of popular comic books such as Astérix & Obélix, Le Petit Nicolas, Iznogoud, Lucky Luke and many more.

IFI Thamrin will transform into Astérix’s garden to remember the life and work of the French illustrator with film screenings, workshops on colouring and drawing and several competitions. The highlight of the day will be a visit by Madame Astérix, Ibu Rahartati Bambang Haryo, the legendary translator of comic books. Comic lovers, young and old, are invited to come to this special event!
