Literature and Ideas Festival (LIFEs) is the new version of Salihara’s Literature Biennale. While the biennale focused on a programme connected to reading and literature, LIFEs will highlight disucssions and discourses, encouraging an exchange of ideas.

This year, LIFEs’ theme will be “Reading Latin America: VIVA! REBORN!”, which was chosen because of a strong interest of Indonesians in both literature and philosophy from Latin America. Over the course of three weeks, Salihara will host a number of unique events. Come and be inspired.
