Wasiat is a tradition rooted in history. The writing of a will (Wasiat) does not only mean the delivery of messages but also as a cross-generation link and the transition of civilization. Wasiat Agung Negeri Nusantara (WARISAN) is an exclusive exhibition held for the fourth time. In its fourth year, the exhibition chooses “Citra Bahtera Nusantara” as its main theme and shows 3 Indonesian cultural heritages, which are Batik, Woven & Pearl. In particular, WARISAN Exhibition aims to preserve the nation's art and culture as well as appreciation to Batik, Woven, Pearls as well as their observers, craftsmen and entrepreneurs.
WARISAN will feature 130 stands with Batik, Woven & Pearl products with authenticity guarantee. The Batik displayed is Indonesian original Batik variety such as Batik Tulis, Batik Cap or Combination Batik (Tulis and Cap) processed 100% with hot liquid wax. The exhibition also presents the work of the famous NTT woven and luxurious Songket woven from Palembang. And there are also Pearls originated from Indonesian Sea presented at this exhibition with certification for its genuine insurance.
Organized for 4 (four) days, from August 22 to 25, 2019 at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Senayan, WARISAN exhibition is especially FREE entry for visitors who wear Batik or Woven garment or Pearl accessories. In addition, visitors will be charged an entrance fee of Rp. 100,000,- (one hundred thousand rupiah).
