The most awaited annual music festival, Jakarta International BNI Java Jazz Festival, has never disappointed its loyal fan base. This year’s event was particularly exciting as it marked 15 years of this highly anticipated festival. Held from 1 to 3 March this year, the Broadway focused theme, “Music Unites Us All” brought a range of diverse performances for audiences to enjoy at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta.

There were  100 artists in this year’s line up including  legendary band TOTO, newcomer Raveena, the 2019 Grammy Award-winning H.E.R., GoGo Penguin, Parkdrive, Rendy Pandugo, Tohpati, Sheila Majid, Afgan, Dira Sugandi and many more who performed on 11 stages.

Not only did the festival provide a space for international and local musicians, it also honoured  Indonesian music legend Dian Pramana Poetra posthumously. Friends of the late artist, including Deddy Dhukun, Dewi Gita, Dwiki Dharmawan, Ita Purnamasari, Mus Mujiono, Trie Utami & Dian HP, Vina Panduwinata, Yuni Shara and Yopi Latul to perform a tribute to Dian Pramana Poetra.
