Chef Adrian Hauenstein’s impressive career has been marked by a series of exceptional culinary adventures. His journey began at the award-winning Ayada Maldives in 2013, where he served as the Executive Sous-Chef, setting the stage for a path of culinary excellence.

In 2014, he took the helm as the Executive Chef at Park Hotel Winterthur in Switzerland, demonstrating his proficiency in crafting delectable dishes and creating unforgettable dining experiences. However, it was in Southeast Asia that Chef Adrian truly made his mark. In 2015, he ventured to The Shop restaurants in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where he showcased his culinary artistry as the Executive Chef.

From 2017 to 2019, Chef Adrian’s culinary prowess graced the kitchens of Santiburi Koh Samui Resort, further solidifying his reputation as a world-class chef. In 2020, he embarked on a new adventure by taking charge of the culinary operations at the newly opened Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. This experience helped him curate memorable dining experiences and solidified his place as a culinary luminary.

In 2022, Chef Adrian joined the prestigious Alila Villas Uluwatu, which earned the title of Condé Nast Traveler’s Best Resort in Indonesia. His culinary expertise played a pivotal role in enhancing the resort’s reputation.

The Grand Appointment

As the new Executive Chef at Grand Hyatt Jakarta, Adrian Hauenstein takes the reins of a culinary empire. He is responsible for six restaurants and one bar within the hotel, each offering a unique gastronomic experience. These establishments include C’s Steak and Seafood, Sumire, Grand Café, Fountain Lounge, La Moda, burgundy, and Poolside Restaurant.
